01SHOULD I COMMISSION A MUSIC VIDEO, A VISUALIZER OR B-ROLL?+
A music video suits a release that needs a developed sequence of scenes and a complete edit. A visualizer can center on one sustained visual idea. B-roll extends an edit you already have: Practice shows my work delivering shared AI scenes, while Clüb De Combat shows direction across a complete visual world. Send the track and existing material so the proposal can define the right scope.
02WHAT REFERENCES HELP WITH CHARACTER AND SCENE CONTINUITY?+
Send approved artist imagery, existing footage, styling references and the intended visual mood, together with the track and delivery formats. I assess what can hold together across character, scale, light and environment. In Practice these relationships connected the artists across scenes; in Bounce, rain, vehicles, fire and reflections connected different shot sizes. Feasibility and scope are confirmed before production.
03WHAT DOES AI MUSIC VIDEO DIRECTION INCLUDE?+
The exact scope is agreed for each release. It can include the creative concept, treatment, visual research, art direction, AI shot production, continuity, motion, editing, color and final exports. The proposal states the deliverables before production begins.
04DO YOU WORK WITH INDEPENDENT ARTISTS AND RECORD LABELS?+
Yes. Chris Raw works on selected projects for independent artists, labels, managers and creative agencies worldwide. The deciding factors are the song, the visual opportunity, the timing and whether the scope can support a strong finished result.
05CAN THE ARTIST APPEAR WITHOUT A TRADITIONAL VIDEO SHOOT?+
It can be possible when the available references, permissions and creative approach support it. Every project is assessed separately. The artist or rights holder must be able to authorize the supplied likeness, logos, artwork, music and other source material.
06CAN YOU DELIVER VERTICAL CUTS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA?+
Yes, when vertical or alternate formats are included in the agreed deliverables. Planning those versions at treatment stage usually produces a better result than cropping a finished widescreen film at the end.
07HOW LONG DOES AN AI MUSIC VIDEO TAKE?+
Timing depends on the concept, number of shots, revision structure and final formats. Share the target release date in the project brief. The production schedule and approval points are then defined in the proposal instead of promising a generic turnaround.
08WHAT SHOULD I SEND WITH THE FIRST BRIEF?+
Send the track, release context, artist and label credits, visual references, required formats, target date and any approved brand assets. You should also identify who can authorize the music, likenesses, trademarks and supplied media.
09HOW ARE USAGE RIGHTS AND FEES HANDLED?+
The quote and written proposal define the production fee, included revisions, deliverables and agreed usage. Rights in third-party music, likenesses, logos and client-supplied assets remain subject to their own permissions. Nothing important is left to an assumption at handover.
