[ PRACTICAL GUIDE / CREATIVE BRIEF ]
How does an AI brand-film brief differ from a music-video brief?

[ THE SHORT ANSWER ]
A music-video brief often begins with the track and the artist's identity. A brand-film brief must also define what the audience needs to understand about the product or organisation. Both benefit from strong direction, but they may have different non-negotiable details and approval routes.
Name the audience task
For a music release, the film may introduce the artist, develop a world or give the song a memorable image. For a brand, the film may need to communicate a specific product, use or message. Write that purpose in one sentence before collecting visual references. The same impressive sequence can be appropriate for one task and confusing for another.
List the details that must remain exact
Identify logos, product shapes, packaging, names and required wording. Explain which assets are supplied and which images are references only. If generated material cannot reliably preserve a critical detail, plan a controlled asset or another production method for that part. Do not leave exactness as a vague request to make the result more realistic after the concept is approved.

Make the review structure visible
State who approves the concept, the product appearance, the wording and the final edit. Consolidate their feedback before another production round. A change in marketing message can affect the whole sequence, while a revised end card may be a contained adjustment. Knowing the difference helps the team discuss timing and scope without treating every comment as the same kind of revision.

Define a delivery that serves the purpose
Specify destinations, formats, durations and any alternate messages. Then choose references for the job each one does: camera distance, material, lighting or pacing. For a music video, the track may control many timing decisions; a brand film may need space for a readable message or product action. Build the treatment around those requirements. A useful brief gives the director enough constraint to make the work recognisable without prescribing every frame in advance.
